2. What does your OC generally carry around?- Violin Case
Desc.: With his violin and bow inside.
Use: He plays it as a hobby, career and in battle to support allies
and uses it's sound waves to affect or damage enemies.
Carries: (With a strap to be worn on the back.)
- Handmirror
x x xDesc.: Gold with a rose embellishment on the back.
It was custom and a present from his caretaker, so it's special.
Use: His caretaker mainly bought it to help with his monophobia (he'll look at his reflection to keep himself from getting anxious/scared when alone); eye contact seems to help that. Though he doesn't know that was the main reason she bought it, he does use it for that; but he's also very vain and likes checking his appearance. (Or just staring at it. XD)
He can also use it to reflect and add potency to his light magic.
Carries: (In one of the side coat pockets for easy access, or strapped somewhere safely inside the violin case, or some other container when he's not so lonely.)
- Pocketwatch
Desc.: Gold, round with a smooth/blank cover.
It's very special to him, because it was the only birthday present his father ever gave him.
Use: To check the time, of course. Specifically for lessons, classes and meetings at the time.
Carries: (In a front lower right pocket of his coat with a gold chain that hangs out.)
- White handkerchief
Desc.: White and made of simple but durable cloth, with lace on the ends.
Use: For wiping his nose when he's sick or his eyes if he cries.
Carries: (Most likely in some higher, outer coat pocket for easy access.)
- Red Roses
Desc.: Just simple roses in a red color. Single or bouquets.
Gets them from buying them or growing them in his or Katrina's garden.
Use: For gifting to his fiancee' Katrina. Otherwise he likes offering them as gifts to others
as a polite gesture (usually girls), but is not a womanizer in doing so..
He also likes
their appearance, scent, posing with and holding them, ect.
Carries: (On-hand or in some container or outer side pocket.)
3. Your OC's week (either notable or average.)- Sunday
Attends church at St. Lumina in the morning. A thing he's done since he was little.
He does it for the nostalgia and to feel at peace, than actually believing fully in it.
When the weather is too bad, or he's in bad condition himself, he'll just stay home.
If he doesn't go to church, then he uses this time as he pleases;
to sleep in or work on some of his usual hobbies or try a new one.
In the afternoon he likes to take walks or go out on Sundays.
If it's too sunny or raining he'll just bring an umbrella.
He still remembers to do chores before going out, though.
Since most shops are closed on Sunday, he goes out not for shopping,
but for sight seeing and other activities.
If the weather is worse than just a little rain, or he's sick;
of course he'll stay inside instead.
Since it's a day off for both of them, he'll also spend time with his fiancee' throughout the day.
Sunday nights being the last day of the weekend before the work day, they try to make the best of it. Sometimes having romantic dinners, dates or other special plans; others, just spending time together.
- Monday
Mondays are sort of boring days, as anyone would imagine.
He usually sleeps in a lot, but in the case he's up early he'll bother Katrina until she has to go.
That means a lot of whining, tugging, hugging and being pried off of her as she leaves for work. Considering he won't see her as much most of the week, unless it's out in the orchard or in the shop.
After she leaves, he's usually utterly bored; either sleeping in, tending to the housework or the shop. Since the shop doesn't open up that early, sometimes he'll clean it or fix up the stock on the shelves or in the storage room, ect. among simple chores.
At the begining of the week, Edward doesn't usually feel like working on his music or writing.
Instead, he builds up inspiration on these days. Unless he has a specifically good idea.
So beside his own career, when the shop is open, Edward doesn't mind helping tend the shop
or the orchard, if Katrina or her father need an extra hand. He leaves carrying goods from the
port or storage room to the shop, up to them, though.
- Tuesday
Being a work day, Edward tends to start working in his writing, compositions and music.
He tries to do this at least four times a week, like from Tuesday through Friday or so.
He plays in public and occasionally he's hired to compose as a commission or play for event, or even in another city.
(He travels by stage coach, so distances between local cities aren't too much of a problem.)
When he's not working in his own hobbies and career, he helps Katrina and her father with their work.
- Wednesday
Another work day, there's nothing particularly good about Wednesday.
He tries not to sleep in too much, writes, sells his work to publishers,
practices playing music and composing it, plays music in public or when hired,
does the usual housework chores, goes shopping, walks his dog Pietro,
helps with the shop or picking things in the orchard and watering the garden.
Not always all in the same day.
- Thursday
Thursday is pretty much the same as Wednesday.
Though he tries to make room for seeing his friends throughout the week,
whether it's on week days or weekends; though weekends are easier planned out.
However, most of Edward and Katrina's friends live further away, so they need to
travel via stage coach through towns and cities; or make long distance calls to plan.
- Friday
Friday is the same as the rest of the week days, as well.
So I'll just explain more of what they do when they're needed and not "safely at home";
they work along with a traveling group of members dedicated to support various causes
across the world and discover mysteries related to their world and it's occult,
as well as the magic that the members of said "group" can use.
(Magic is normally taught by schools and is very hard/expensive to learn;
but the members of their group, like Edward and Katrina themselves;
are born with these abilities through a magic symbol known as a "mana bearing" somewhere on their body that signifies the element they can control. Edward's being light, on his throat; Katrina's heat, on her heart.)
Sometimes they travel through dungeons, in the wild, and across the world;
as well as fighting monsters, while honing their personal skills in combat as well as magic.
(In the future Edward is leader of this "guild", yet to be named and I'm not even sure if it
will be called a guild. But think of this as an RPG/Videogame/Anime where eventually
all of the party members live together in a castle; much like the Suikoden series.)
(If really needed Edward also has a form where he grows wings when certain
requirements are met; so travel is even easier.
Katrina's special form also allows her to call upon and ride war horses.
Keep in mind these special forms aren't easily accessed and take up a lot of power to use.
These are both in relation to the magic/mana bearing system of the protagonists.)
- Saturday
Saturday is another day off, but unlike Sunday there is no church.
Still, Edward enjoys his days off spending time with his friends and fiancee'.
Doing his usual hobbies and chores, or traveling and fighting as described above.
(Sorry if that was boring or confusing. XD He really has no schedule.)
4. The worse/most peculiar outfit your OC ever wore.Probably the crossdressing he had to do (along with the other males in his group)
in order to enter a bridal tournament.
The original plan was for defeating an Emperor who was their enemy.
Basically, they had the females in their group enter it; along with regular contestants,
as a distraction. Then they'd come in for the assault of the Emperor.
However, their plan was spoiled when they realized only females were allowed in the building...
(the Emperor didn't want men gawking at his future bride)
So for reasons of not getting caught / thrown in prison and whatnot, or getting in trouble;
they had to sneak into the dressing rooms and come out as applicants for the tournament. XD
Then make the assault when he was distracted by the other contestants.
(Sorry I don't have an image of that, maybe I'll edit this sometime and make a note of it.
The design was come up with and is being drawn by a friend of mine. XD)
5. What are your OC's dreams and goals?- To unlock the mystery of what Lumos, his mana bearing is.
This magic symbol on his throat is the reason his body contains mana;
hence he is born able to use magic before even learning it.
He finds out that the symbol he has is called "Lumos" and it controls the light elemental.
Lumos reacts to other people who have similar symbols for the other elements.
It also reacts to his emotions and situation, by glowing and controling light magic via nearby source(s). As Edward's personality develops and he becomes physically and emotionally stronger, he unlocks his magic's potential.
- To change the class system in his father's Dukedom.
To change it so that noble and commoner relationships and marriage are acceptable.
Among other reasons, like the unfairness between the upper, middle and lower classes.
Mostly for the reason that his love interest is a commoner and he is a noble, though.
(Though at a point he's banished from nobility, so though it's no longer a problem for him;
he realizes it is for others. That and he may reclaim his status somehow. *undecided*)
- To settle down.
To fall in love and get married. In the future he marries Katrina.
Someday they have a daughter name Rebecca, and possibly a son named Elias. *undecided OC*
- To become a famous musician and composer.
Edward plays the violin, piano and most string instruments.
Including, but not pertaining to: mandolin, lute, guitar (electric and acoustic), viola, cello.
He does this mainly as an enjoyable hobby, but also a career.
- To become a famous novelist.
He's good at writing and does it to make money for a living.
While he doesn't intend to become "famous" for fame, he intends to be good in order to make money. Just making use of his talent in writing with a side job.
