Just finished "Breakout", by Ann Aguire (Might be "Anne" not "Ann).
It's the third in a sci-fi series of hers, and by the way it ends? Definitely it's the last.
Which is a pity, because I really enjoyed the series!
And all her other books are in first person P.o.V. and she doesn't do first person NEARLY as well as she does third person (iow I find them unreadable, so until she does another 3rd person series that's all I've got from this author)!
But the Dred chronicles are fun reads, and worth picking up.
Anyhow, now I'm about halfway through "Wood Sprites" by Wen Spencer, which is an author I've NEVER had fail me; he or she does absolutely excellent work.

It's also a new installment in a previously established series-world-universe-whatever. And the way it's interwoven in with the previous two, I really want to go read them again! But I can't until I get home. I'm off visiting, and yesterday I went to a bookstore, and so for now I'm stuck trying to remember to leave in all the bookmarks which are placeholders for timeline events I want to check.
(It has a different protagonist than the first few in this world, and it's set in an entirely different area, but the timeline seems to overlap, and they go back and forth a bit with stuff that happened/is happening with the first ones, and it's giving me new ideas and perspectives and I really want to go check again...)
