The next auction will be announced for sure, but I am not sure I should announce the winner? People might start bugging him/her about selling the extra Knuffel, even though the choice what to do with the extra should be up to the winner of the auction.

I dont mind not winning her, but I would mind if someone gets her, who doesnt lvl her up and post her stages in forum.
That would be a sad thing, especially for the effort Firn put in her.
Aren't the stages all shown on the auction page? Or are you referring to something else? c:
Yes, all stages are shown on the auction page.
Some general thoughts: I know not everyone is happy about these auctions. I knew this would be the case, because the first natural course of thoughts would probably be something like "How will I provit from this?" and then "I can't get the Knuffel, I can't gain anything from this at all - I don't like this."
But please try to keep in mind that with everything we add here, we try to improve (and save) the site for everyone and we have put a lot of thoughts into this and hope that this will be something
everyone can benefit from.
As you can already see from the bids, there are quite a few users who have incredible amounts of food just sitting on their accounts and nothing to do with it. They have little motivation the be active, prices of some things like Fairy Coins are crazy, because such people basically have infinite funds to spend on these things. Long past are the times when a Fairy Coin would be sold for 10 or 20K in the market - Now there are people with immense amounts of food who can not only spend this amount on FC (and make them unatainable for users with less funds), but also, there is basically no reason for most users to buy Fairy Coins to re-sell them for food to other users. Most of the time there are no FC for sale at all - Because most people, if they donate at all, donate to spend their FC themselves. They don't have the need to get FCs to re-sell, as they have more food than they could spend. Whereas FCs started out at 10K they are now easily over 100K and that's insane.
We have a massive inflation problem that will only become greater and greater over time if we don't do anything against it and these Knuffel auctions are meant to take large amounts of food out of our virtual economy - something everyone could profit from in the long run as it's a way to fight inflation. So please try to see it from this site and consider that this is something that might be good for you! I don't know whether this will work out. Maybe people will lose interest in these auctions fast, maybe they will be too frustrated to bid again if they don't win an auction - It's hard to predict. But it seemed like worth a try to me.
If anyone has any other great anti-inflation suggestions, I always have an open ear and you can post your suggestions in the Feedback forum. I read every post there. (Please don't make any suggestions about this in this thread, as all posts here should be related to the auctions)
Also, please keep in mind that the winner of this auction gets more than one of this Knuffel, so there is a chance to get this Knuffel, even if you don't win the auction!
