Major maintenance downtime(s) on Thursday, July 31st

Hi all,
I know there are lots of issues going on currently, what with all that login issue some of you are having, and other funny stuff happening with the user control panel. Since we're still not done constructing even all planned parts of the site, beta phase will continue for yet another while.
Anyway, on Thursday, July 31st, I'm planning to install an update to the forum software, and make changes to the avatar/inventory system (the latter of which is going to allow you to have more than one of each item). Since this requires major changes to this board as well as the database system, I expect to have one or more downtimes to part of the site, and probably also a short downtime for the whole site. I will try to time these downtimes so that they occur at times when in the past there used to be few user online, which is a time window between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm (German time, currently UTC+2). Please excuse me for all possible inconveniences.
By the way, I keep receiving pms from people trying to chat me up or asking me questions on when parts of the site will come up again, and I don't answer them - sorry, but I don't have the time currently for a chat, and can't answer the when questions because I don't know when I'll get to these things. I do read all posts in the Support forum usually, so this is the place to reach me if you have any problems or questions. Thank you.
