Fixed the login cookie issue... I think.

Hi people,
today, besides lots of other coding work, I found out why the "stay logged in" checkbox didn't work, and, hopefully, fixed the issue. On the machines I used to test it, it worked perfectly. If the problem persists for someone else, please let me know.

I was pleasantly surprised when I came here today and I found that I was already logged in.
