Maintenance downtime & updates [ANOTHER UPDATE]

Now the board is up and running again, you may have noticed some major changes to the board, like PMing and stuff. It's been a rather long day and I'm still working on several design issues.

As you will also have noticed, the reward system is temporarily down, meaning you don't get food for posting until I've fixed it. Which should happen anytime tonight, so hang on. T_T

Another issue: many URL links in bbcode haven't survived the migration, due to some mysterious bug that breaks all URL tags which have a line break in between. Although I'll try wo fix that, maybe meanwhile you just want to fix the broken links. :gonk:

I think I just fixed the URL thing. You can now have breaks between [url] and [/url] tags, but they will be updated only when you edit your post.

So: If you have already encountered the broken links in your posts, go to these posts, click "edit", then submit again. This should fix the broken links. Same thing with broken links in signatures.

Sorry it took quite a while, had to hack my way through the bbcode processing parts of the new board system...

Hello, we have done some changes to the forum, but it's not finished yet.

Some things aren't working yet or not working properly, like avatars, Knuffel signatures etc.

Don't worry, your food points are not lost, they just haven't been transfered yet.

We hope to get this done soon.

You might want to test some of the new things, like PMs and friendlists and inform us about any bugs that might occur.

Thank you!

Firn

Eh? It looks okay to me.
Can you possibly take a screenshot?

The only thing I've noticed is that's there is a rather large space between the banner and everything else on the page. At first I thought part of the page wasn't loading, but quickly realize I just needed to scroll down a bit.

It's the Internet Explorer issue again, and should be fixed now. :psick: At least on my machine the page looks fine on Firefox and IE.

Didn't I tell you to rest for today?
You have done enough work already. X.x

(...but you could add the custom Knuffel I sent you yesterday to the database...please  )

And the Register button is not working. I am not sure whether this is because you are working on it right now, but someone just pointed it out to me so I thought I better let you know.

And yes you guys did a great job. Take 1 day off.

Right now you have to put the code into one line to make it work. Hopefully will be fixed though.^^

You don't need any programming skills for that. All you need to do is press the <- key on your keyboard at the beginning of the second line of your code. I'd show you how it's supposed to look like but it would stretch the page.

Though you should see it when you quote this post.

That's what it needs to look like:

Just put the code in one line instead of two and feeding will work again.

It might still take some time till starkad fixes the real problem, but the temporary fix is good enough for now.
