Wondering if it is OK to ask for a knuffle

So I'm wondering if it is allowed to straight up ask for some kind and generous soul to gift me a Knuffie baby? I promise to take very good care of it and give it good food and toys to play with. If it's not OK for free, can ya sell me one kinda cheaply? I have almost 300
