I must admit, I don't think I've managed to complete a single reading challenge yet.


Still.

It's fun to think about what I should attempt next, even if it falls through in the end.

Anyone doing a reading challenge for 2025?

Do you ever do any other new year's resolutions or challenges? Is it just the reading challenge you don't do, or do you have a principle against doing any?

I always liked the process of making them; it's like a fun brainstorming session of might-be-could-happen fortune-telling with friends. Silly, and no loss if it doesn't happen, but fun to picture.

But then I never treat them as "real" enough to put much energy into manifesting them, lol, they're just a parlor game more or less.


Speaking of which! I should set myself a reading challenge for 2025!

Let's see, maybe this time I'll say to get through three new textbooks?
That sounds suitably imposing, and quite doable.

What's the funniest resolution you've ever heard someone make?

i've.....never heard of any? noone in the fam makes them and i don't have irl friends either. XD;;

I found a super easy textbook and finished one of my three for the year.
It was an intro-level Spanish textbook. Good refresher.
I should be more ambitious for the next one, though.

Eww textbooks lol. XD at least for me lol.
