So, did anyone watch this year? Tell me your favorite songs and performances. Is there any artist you want to dive deep into?

And, since there was so much behind the scenes drama this year, do you have any opinions (without getting overly political or fighting).

Personally, I do think Nemo should have won. It's the best song. But, my real favorite might be We Will Rave. XD I just like that kind of thing. Takes me back to the early 2000's but with better sound quality!

Oh, bother, I really meant to and plum forgot.
Okay, I'll go look up some of these on youtube.
Find Nemo, and We Will Rave, got it.
What else should I look for?
Any that were entertainingly spectacularly odd this year?
What about the costumes?

If you want odd...Ireland. That was delightful but in a, me and my roommate were staring open-mouthed at each other the whole time, kind of way. I don't think anyone could have predicted that performance.

Honestly, there weren't a lot of normal performances this year. Dizzy by Olly Alexander was also eye opening but in a very different way. Megara's 11:11 didn't qualify for the finals but it certainly was a commitment to pink.

Ha ha ha, sounds like a great year!
Maybe I should just go through the whole line up.

I think it's worth it. There were very few songs I didn't like, especially of those that made it to the finals. I mean, I didn't even hate the French song and their entries always sound just a little too French for me...

You have convinced me! My aunt is the one who watches shows with me, we're getting together in three weeks and I'll bring a list. We're doing this! We can put off our normal program for a month.

That sounds like fun. It's always best to watch with someone else because there's so much to react to. I'm glad my roommate likes the drama of it all as much as I do.

Yeah, some of it is watching the performances, but some of it is giggling and other peoples' reactions to the performances!

The running commentary is very important! And if the song isn't good, you have to have something to do other than suffer through it in silence.

Yes! Plus, what if they come up with the perfect way to describe it? If they weren't there to supply that creativity, you'd be stuck with your own limited-to-one-brain self!
(Okay now I briefly had a vision of someone with a whole series of brains hooked up in serial trailing behind them and you know what? One brain is not that bad...)
