I heard that there was an eclipse in the U.S. and I'm not sure where else. Did you watch the eclipse? How was it?

I kinda saw it. I was in the 98% totality band but it was super cloudy so we only got glimpses and a lot of darkness at the hight of it.

Real talk for a moment: Can we Go back to that month that Pokemon Go was released. Everyone was so happy and the only people down my throat were old men at work who complained about a cell phone app kids were playing. Can we have that? Please.

I saw a satellite video of it on YouTube which showed its trajectory from space. It was cool.

I traveled a few hours to get into the totality. This was my second total eclipse as I saw one in 2017 as well. Both experiences were very different. The totality lasted longer this time and we had a better view of the 'diamond ring' effect. But there were cool streamers of light around the corona in 2017.
It was very cloudy this time and the sun was obscured a lot in the beginning but there were also moments where the cloud cover was just thick enough to act as sunglasses and allow you to see the sun's shape through the mass with the naked eye (and get some cool pictures).

That's so cool, I love the descriptions.

I was in San Antonio TX when it happened. Everything went to night. I wasn't really keen at looking at it because I like my eyes >_< I got a cool mug from a pottery store next to where we parked.

Ooof, you didn't have the glasses? Yeah, you can't see much without them because the naked eye can't discern the shape when it's that bright. But at least you got to see it go dark~
