My gently raised beast

So.
A manga in Webtoons. The main story has already concluded, though they are now publishing a sequel - which I expect to be short.
I've binge read it like crazy.
Anyone read it?
Little summary for those who did not.
So little poor child suddently finds out she's a bastard daughter of the emperor, who brings her to palace - only to be ignored by everyone and mistreated by her half-siblings. (Made me think of Candy Candy.)
Then she meets this talking cat, who happens to be a divine creature and can change to human shape at will, and they soon become great friends.
Years pass... and as they grow their feelings for each other grow too - but because this is a romantic story they can't just tell each other right away
He's the kind of toxic guy I usually hate to read about in romantic stories - possessive, protective, tough, jealous. But because this seems to be his "beast" side and he makes an effort to be more "human" for her, I did not find him repulsive.
Also she looks frail. but she's been through a lot and has toughned up A LOT.
They are both always thinking "oh, you are so naive and I must protect you" about the other one, so much that it reachs a point of ridicule, and still I enjoyed reading it.
But to be honest, the character I liked the most was her half-brother, who has such a nice character arc. Also he's super cute.
