Mermaids' Ball
Who will you meet at the ball? Are they your friends or your foes? Under the water what fun we will have!

The contest is making an avatar based on any mermaid tails (or anything that could pass of as a mermaid's tail!). I will not be so critical about the tail! Please just have fun

You can use any items or colors you like! And having a little story about your mermaid would be fun (might be a special prize for it )

You can use the Dream avatar creator! Multiple entries are allowed after we have 5 entries!

After months, maybe even years, Zeralda finally found what could help her change that dreadful tail. Tort had found one of his old buddies, Lyal the seahorse, who had information about a special mirror. It was said those that possessed the mirror would be shown their deepest desire. Not only that, but the mirror would also show one's true self and it would reflect this for others to see. So, Lyal, Tort, and Zeralda set out on a quest to find this enchanted object.

They went through the shipwrecks of doom, over the coral reefs, and through the Giant Squid's tunnel. Once they passed through to the other side, there was a very small old, rusting trinket box. The light shone down from above. Zeralda swam over to the box and opened it to see a goreous mirror with a white bow tucked inside. She picked it up and looked at the mesmerizing mermaid staring back at her.

She had the same dark black eyes and lips. The same skin tone and ears. But, this mermaid had blue-ish colored hair and she was stunning! Her tail looked so elegant with its purples and blues. She couldn't believe what she saw. She looked over at Tort and Lyal, Zeralda saw them floating with their mouths open. She let out a tiny giggle at the sight of the turtle and seashorse. The transformation had happened and she was her true beautiful self.

One is not supposed to be there, and the other is keeping an eye out for anyone suspicious. Will Princess Nimoka get thrown out of the ball, making a scene?! Or will Madame Hyppa XIII Campis let her stay to see what information she can glean from a rival kingdom's noble by sidling up to her in a friendly way?

Meeting story entry:
While taking a glimpse into the future, the Light Prophetess mer witnessed a worrying fate for the ocean. Bound by ancient laws, she is unable to directly interfere with her visions. It was at this anxious time that she remembered an old rumour - that the Sea Witch, a mer who is said to have been banished to darkness after challenging the Old Gods, was to make an appearance in the next Mermaid Ball. Desperate for a chance to avoid the harrowing fate she saw, Light Prophetess mer made her way to the ball and approached the Sea Witch with trepidation.
