Not sure how far along you are in the story, but my advice would be always to check your gear. Make sure your gear is up to par with your current job level or close. You can always run dungeons close to your level and collect loot drops. It is somewhat an unstated rule to always need loot. Greed only shows if it is for your current job and it would be in your best interest to greed on items you need for your job when they drop.

Yes absolutely! I'm very lucky in that I've got a friend helping me so they keep reminding me to buy the Ironworks gear (I'm free trial so 60 is my max)

currently very much enjoying the fact I got Amon's hat, gloves and body pieces because they're super fancy and suit Bard really well

Always good to have a friend. You should be good with the Ironworks gear until you hit levels 55-56. Then you should start looking into gear again until you hit 60. I also wouldn't be afraid to try other jobs. Maybe run open-world content with them such as fates to see if you like them.

Amon is a tall fancy man. He has the most ridiculous hat in the game and I wish we got a dyeable version.

I've done Summoner to 60, Scholar to 60 and Bard to 58 so far, looking to try Paladin maybe, to try something different. I've been running a few fates because I need company seals lol.

Yup! I truly love the big hat so much lmaoooo

The seal grind is always a challenge. Always going to be needing seals. Paladin wasn't too bad. The story for them was interesting and was one of the better tank stories out of the two starter ones.

Very nice big hat. Does the hat have ear holes for Mi'qote's, or do you lose your ears in it? Never really seen Mi'qotes on my server with the hat so I'm curious.

I heard Dark Knight is one of the best in terms of story so I'm tempted to wait until I unlock it, but I've got quite a ways to go seeing as I'm only on the middle patches between A Realm Reborn and Heavensword.

You lose the ears sadly. But you do get a little mask that you can /visor on and off hehe

I've now taken up Marauder/Warrior to try out tanking - I'm currently levelling it up and only lvl35 but it's not as bad as I thought it would be lol, definitely less stressful than healer.

Sorry for falling off the map. Raid nights got intense! Between the mog event and raid drops... been away from my comp. :mcheh:

I cannot say for myself as I just picked up dark knight and haven't run them through the job quest, but my friend really likes it. It's one of her favorite tanks out of the four both rotation and story-wise.

Nice! I started out as a warrior and after the changes made in 6.0, it feels refreshing to play on and off. I'm primarily a melee dps, but I play as a tank doing unsync content. I feel that warrior is on the easier side of tanking as you only have a 3-4 button rotation and then brrrr moments as you level. Sadly the story was not for me.
