@Amura: yes, that's exactly it! People don't wanna bother, so they choose the easy path: letting the children do whatever they want and call it "progressive education" >_>.... no, it's not education at all, folks...
I know my parents never had to punish me or anything, they just set rules and I knew adults had the last word, that was it. I never tried to go against that because it just wasn't natural to me.
You seem to be a great mom! God forbid I ever have children though X'DD.... I can't even take care of myself, let alone a kid...! A dog is my absolute best hahaha

Ok so I'm stuck, got to the point where I need to finish a sidequest to progress on main quest because I can't speak to the character it involves, but to do that sidequests I need to level up my team and I can't do that because I need boss materials and every boss is now at lvl 50 while I'm stuck at 40 LOL

I do my best, but I would hardly describe myself as a great mom.
I lose my temper much more often than I would like.
I did lose it today.
He did not want to get dressed. He just wanted to stay in his PJs and play with me. But we had to do some grocery shopping, and I told him he had to get dressed to go with us to run the errands.
He started stomping and slammed the door.
So I run to his bedroom and opened the door very very angry...
He was still behind the door, and the doorknob hit him in his head >_<

Now he's got a bump in his head, which is like big neon sign saying "mom has no patience".

I hate being that angry.
I don't attend to reasons, I behave violently (I did open the door with violence) and things go awry.

I don't hit my son because I profoundly think that's wrong. You don't hit the weaker ones, that's for bullies.
But when I get too angry I tend to explode anyway.

*sighs*
Well, I still have a lot of work to do with myself, I guess learning to be a parent is a lifetime job...

Hahaha, that remind me of one night my mom got scared of something (a noise, a nightmare, whatever) and she wanted to wake up my father. She was just over him, telling him to wake up... and he did. Only that he did not realize what was happening and he woke up all of a sudden, banging his head on hers.

Next morning my mom had a black eye. Completely black all around.
Nothing you can hide under make up.
And when people asked her about it, she replied "oh, my husband hits me".

She claimed it was literally true xD
And that if she said otherwise some people would think it anyway.

@Amura: don't say that, you feeling guilty about it is just the sign that you're a great mom! :) I really can't blame you because I have zero patience ^^;;... like, with anyone. I blow up really fast, and sometimes I could swear I'm just a hair away from breaking something in the house just because of all that pent-up anger haha.
So don't be too hard on yourself accidents happen!

@Moi: uuuugh self-healing bosses are just soooo annoying! >_> Thankfully a friend helped me beat some bosses yesterday, like Cryo Regisvine and such, so I can at least get some characters to lvl50 - hurray!
Omg tho, I feel you, I kept falling and hitting myself in furniture and such all the time when I was a kid, had bruises all over too XDD Thank goodness no one thought we were beaten up by our parents...!
