Bending Backwards

I have really flimsy fingernails so mine often...bend backwards.
It hurts a lot too ._.
I've even been woken up out of a dead sleep because my fingernail somehow bent backwards while I was sleeping.
You ever had your fingernails bent backwards?

The very thought of this might be giving me nightmares actually. XD Mine only bend a bit if they're wet? Usually that doesn't hurt and they just end up breaking. Do you perhaps have flatter or rather long nails?? o_o

Long or short, they still bend.
They also curve down ._.

oooh this hurts SO badly. im glad it doesn't do this as much as i got older, but as a kid it used to happen alot especially during sports

My nails are super flimsy too. I hate it. I usually just keep mine really short so this doesn't happen as much. I even take vitamins but it doesn't help. :/

They might help you but they didn't me. I believe they've helped my hair though.

Most of my fingernails are fairly thick but I have a couple that are thinner. I have had the thin ones bend backwards many times, but what is worse is the thicker ones. They don't bend, so they try to come right off the nail bed. I try to keep them short enough that I don't get them caught on stuff.

That's never happened to me, but I don't think mine have ever been long enough that they could? That's a horrifying image though...or not image but like...imagining what that would feel like?

It's happened to me a few times, but always after hitting hard with something.
Definetely not in my sleep...
