I created my Dappervolk account back when mothlike was the monthly item. Played it for less than a month, quit, then started playing again in August 2023. It's gotten to a point where I just log in to collect the bank interest though.

It's reminding me too much of GaiaOnline, where the main aspect is spending money on virtual items. Dappervolk is like 3 or 4 years old yet a lot of the stuff that was said during their Kickstarter still hasn't been achieved. Even the town rebalancing seems a bit too little too late. Any events that they do is just extra grinding and I'm not excited about them. Unless new features are added I can't see myself on there for much longer.

I remember mothlike, that was the first monthly I think. I still play it but like i only do a few daily tasks.
