Never did one of these before to be honest so with this I'm dumping my art here?

I've been having fun making a festive gudetama stocking in illustrator and recently did this species prompt with my oc in my usual drawing program ArtRage^^

Edit: fixed some image sizing issues//

Also my latest wip! Doing a genderbend of my oc Atsu above~

Some more recent work (edit 3/12/2023: fixed some broken image links! not sure I got all the images right what they were before, also added some new stuff~)

Aww //v\\ Oh for the gudetama and the background on the 2nd image I used Adobe Illustrator! for most of my art I use Artrage though^^ Mostly bc I got it with my tablet years ago, I'm trying to branch out to more art programs though~

Oooh~ I used to use Illustrator in high school but I wasn't very good at it

I've never tried ArtRage! I will need to check that one out as well

I currently use Clip Paint Studio. I've used it since it was known as Manga Studio.
I Also used to use Sai, but for some reason it doesn't wanna work on my PC anymore

Looking into ArtRage right now and it looks pretty great!
I just got Realistic Paint Studio recently!
It's been fun to play with but I feel like ArtRage's UI is more comfortable looking.

ooh that looks p cool I'll check it out >:0 I have to say I still find illustrator pretty hard to use when I want to make more complicated shapes and such, practicing these cheeb icons n stuff with it rn:





I can only do lineless stuff with it tho, doing lineart- nooope XD but It's fun for simple characters like gudetama n such, made a bunch of kirby's a while ago too https://twitter.com/ArtnoteDa/status/13 ... 6756228098 - sorry lmao resizing everything is such a pain but don't want to have it all spill out of the topic box again// It's fun to make things using shapes

I actually got clip studio paint when for like a year w a backup tablet I got but I barely used it bc I'm so used to artrage-- I really need to get out of my comfort zone :') It looked quite nice tho! but yeah the layout of artrage (at least def the old vers I got) is so easy to use, I should prob buy the newest one sometime I think they added a lot more by now, can't believe it's been like 8-9 years since I got my tablet oOF - also tried downloading sai once! but it had spyware and stopped working bc I was stupid back then and used prob the wrong website for it//

I love your prints and would def get one of your Gudetama if you ever had a print of it

I started replaying old Kirby games on my Switch and it's been fun!
I never got to play them before so it's great that I'm able to now.
I think Dream course is my fav so far!

I feel the same with Clip paint ; u ; My first ever tablet, my uncle got me a wacom and a copy of Manga studio, it was amazing!
I'm just so used to the UI that I have a hard time learning new ones

I'm tempted to buy Artrage 6, I really like the brush engine~
I've tried Corel Painter and I managed to get the 2019 version through Humble bundle!
It's pretty amazing but the program is hundreds of dollars ; A ;
So, I feel like ArtRage is very affordable for the quality you get~

Also, Krita is a nice free Art program.
I'm not very good at it but the brushes are very nice!
It used to run so bad on my old PC that I never got around to messing with it much.

Ohh that's unfortunate ; A ; I did hear about the spyware issues before, you might have got it from the right source but I believe there was an issue with the program getting flagged or blocked by anti-virus/malware.

It's been about the same amount of time for when I got my tablet as well!

Art has definitely been a form of therapy for me growing up~
