Big Sister or Big Brother Mentality

I've always had this mentality. By this I mean I feel the need to always help and defend people who are in trouble or having issues with others.
I play this game where there's two roles - survivor and killer.
When I play as a survivor, I feel the need to protect my teammates - even if it gets me killed.
If a teammate is being constantly targeted, I will try my hardest to save and protect them.
And it just comes naturally. Especially since I do have a little sister now. I was an only child until I was about 18 years old.
I can't threaten kids, but I sometimes want to punt one if they hurt my sister's feelings Bu
Do you have this mentality too?
Do you have any siblings?
Do you like grapefruit?

I do have that. I'm very protective of those I love and also just underdogs in general.
I have 1 brother.
I love grapefruit but it's too much trouble to eat. All that cutting each section...bleck! XD Plus, I have to put waaayyy too much sugar on it to be able to eat it.

my half-siblings are much older than me, so I spent my early years as the spoiled shitless baby to more of an only kid with an aunt (sister) who takes me places sometimes
So, uh, not really
Never seen or had grapefruit

I have three older siblings and one younger. I was the baby for 4 years, 8 months, and 2 days. I was very angry about getting a baby brother because I wanted a baby sister. He and I fought more than not, but I did play Hot Wheels with him some. And when he was too little to know better, my friends and I would do his hair up in barrettes and ribbons. We barely talk now. We're not even friends on Facebook. So, no, I wasn't and am not much of a big sister.
Mom, on the other hand, I am. My daughter is 20 now and I haven't liked some of her friends, but her close friends have become unofficially adopted kids to me. Her best friend Rachel I love like my own.
My two brothers and two sisters and I all have the same two parents and each of us has a different blood type. Dad was B+ with a recessive O gene and a recessive Rh-negative gene. Mom was A- with a recessive O gene. So, in order a appearance: AB+, O-, A-, B+ (me) and A+.
I've eaten grapefruit, but I'd much rather eat oranges.

i'm protective of people i care about, but i don't like conflict (neither do they) and so i kind of stay out of my friends' way when they're trying to solve a conflict. they deal with their issues more or less without my direct help, but of course when they confide in me, i tell them exactly what i think about it, lol.
and nope, grapefruit is gross.

I don't think I'm like that...like I want to help people and stuff, but I don't think to that extent lol
