From The Book of Questions by Gregory Stock.

Question #91: Would you rather play a game with someone more or less talented than you? Would it matter who was watching?

Less talented. I'm not a sore loser but it's no fun getting beaten all the time. I wouldn't care who was watching.

Same. I especially like playing Hearthstone where you play against someone, but you have pretty much no interaction with them! I don't really like to be watched while I play.

Also same, though I like to watch others play/be watched :3 it's all good. Feels more like a team effort when someone is there and you're playing.

I'm indecisive.
I don't want to be beaten because I already have low self-esteem, but I also don't find it fair to compete with someone less talented.

I'm the same as Moi. I wouldn't want to be beaten all the time, but it's no fun always losing. Going up against someone less talented than you all the time just feels like bullying. I wouldn't mind who is watching as long as I don't have to provide a lot of commentary.

I would rather play with someone more talented. It gives me a chance to learn to be better, maybe they could help me be better. It would matter who was watching, I get nervous and anxious when people watch me.

If the game depends on skill I'd rather play with someone less talented or somewhat evenly matched. If you'd ever played Scrabble with my mother you'd understand.

It's a game, so if I was playing it for fun I shouldn't care how talented the other person is or who's watching. If the person was less talented, then cool. I have more of a chance for winning. If the person was more talented, then okay. It'd be frustrating to lose, but also more rewarding to win.

Doesn't matter who's watching, it matters what kind of a game it is.
If it's very competitive I'd rather not play at all, if it's casual competitive then it doesn't matter, if it's a group effort to reach a common goal then it's always nice to have the best players.
