I think most people would prefer to die in their sleep, or high off morphine or something.
A peaceful death.
I find dying in your sleep kind of scary.
We lost a neighbor earlier this year that died in her sleep.
People said she was at peace and it was good she died in her sleep and stuff.
But it's scary to wake up, eat breakfast, go through your day, socialize, eat dinner, go to sleep and never wake up.
You're dead, so it doesn't matter, but it's still scary to me.

I feel like dying in your sleep is good for you but bad for whoever finds you, you know? I'd like to be 100 years old, crossing the street, notice a drunk driver speeding along, and dive in front of the car as I push a baby carriage out of the way or something. Something heroic but that's over with fast and when I'm really old anyway.

I found my dog and cat dead, so it is horrifying. I hope I don't find anyone else dead xD
My aunt found her husband dead because he was doing yardwork and died ;;
That sounds like a heroic death. I'd like to die saving someone.
I think so lowly of myself and feel like I wasted my life and my life is meaningless.
So to save someone would make me feel like my life mattered and meant something.

i don't really care as long as it's painless. something really instantaneous, maybe a gunshot to the brain?

I would like to die painlessly. I'm not really sure on what kind of method I'd prefer.
Maybe an aneurysm or something.

I was gonna say "a painless death, like passing in one's sleep" but some of the replies made me think that maybe I would like to go out with a bang instead, as long as it would also be quick and painless. XD

Old age.. lol, okay, so dying of old age isnt what people think it is.
I would prefer to die by accidental drowning or self-made poison.
Ive thought about poisoning myself before, but the Universe didnt want me to die yet, so I didnt kill myself.
One benefit of knowing how to differentiate between things that are poisonous and things that are edible, is that if I work with a tincture, I can make my own poison.
If I go to an area, and get kidnapped, I can take the poison and they wont be able to do what they want with me.
In case youre curious, I dont want to die anymore, but the reason I did want to was over a boy that broke my heart.
