Okay this is a stupid question, but does anyone know what Princess Leia's hairstyle is called? Besides "cinnamon buns"? I've seen the hairstyle with traditional dress around the world, but I have no idea what it's called. Anyone know?

The only hairstyles I'm familiar with are ponytails, pigtails, braids, bun (singular) and half up and half down. Oh and micro braids. Bout it. Thanks for any help.

How do you wear your hair? Mines usually down or in a ponytail.

I cut my hair really short now.

Is there any reason, or do you just like your hair short?

It dries faster, which is a big deal with our cold winters here.

Ah. Yes, always good in that case. Nebraska gets some pretty cold winters too, but I know New York gets really bad ones.

I mostly wear mine down because now a days tying it back gives me a headache. And it's extra work I don't need. XD

I had bangs, because at the time my bangs wouldn't get very long anyways and they'd be in my way. But suddenly a couple years after moving to this house my bangs started growing. My hair is now a little over shoulder length.

I can attest to that. When I was a sophomore in high school I had a few people think I was a senior. XD And come my junior year one of my teachers kept giving me senior papers or would be like "I don't know why I don't have your papers for (senior thingy)" And I'd have to remind him I was still a junior. XD And then when I was a senior I decided to try a couple classes, but I had to start from the basic level and there were a few classmates who where freshmen and didn't believe I was a senior. I was flattered, but annoyed that they didn't believe me.

I just call them Leia buns.
