What do you think of when you think of Cosmic Horror?
[Like H. P. Lovecraft's world of insanity-inducing aliens from another dimension or the movie The Thing. Its a whole genre.]

What would you do and who would you be if you lived in a place and time where cosmic horror stuff was going on?

Unfortunately I can't do any type of horror, like seriously, I can't even watch Ailen or Predator, let alone The thing, so no matter whom I would be, I would probably be dead XD

I can't do horror either!

I'd've gone cuckoo really early! Curiosity being my besetting sin.

I'd be one of those fools who tries to find out what happens and is driven crazy and some eldritch monstrosity takes over my body and uses it like a puppet-shaped hole in the universe to spill madness through.

So, you're basically the character we all screem at the TV to not go in the dark room alone, right? :))

Yep. Definitely. One of the types who will try and get someone mugging them to teach them about the best ambush points and get killed early while everyone wonders how they survived that long.
But I'm pretty entertained that you're so familiar with the horror tropes when you can't watch horror....

It's everywhere!

I was tircked by my brother in to watching horror movies in the past. Now I'm pretty knowleged of when I have to close my eyes and cover my ears. It's usually after an incredible silent moment or when a spooky song comes up and the classic, dark room, one person goes inside alone shouting "is anybody here?"

Okay, I admit I would not shout, "Is anyone here?"
I would be more likely to wander in, either looking around or if were too dark even for shadows, closing my eyes and practicing spatial awareness. I'd rather just listen quietly and let other people announce themselves.

But I'd definitely wander in.

In that case I would be the wuss that would baracade herself in a room and not come out ever, unless I hear the armada or something like that. Probably die of starvation.

Or be the one lone survivor after everything has calmed down!
