When I was in junior high, my bestie grabbed my face one day, stared into my eyes and said "You have sunflower eyes!"
I was like "What are sunflower eyes .__."
And she said "You have brown in the middle of your eye!"
So I looked it up after that and what I have is called "Central heterochromia".
I have green eyes with brown around my pupils.

I never looked people in the eyes, so I assumed everyone's eyes had that.
Well, the only people I ever looked in the eyes were my parents and they both have it too, so that also made me think everyone had it.
But I like having it. My bestie was sad because her eyes were dark brown and "boring".

I love eyes. They're so beautiful. But I can really only look at pictures of eyes - not with people in real life. It makes me anxious.
My therapist told me to always make eye contact, so I started doing that.
But as far as literally staaaaaaaaaaaring into their eyes, I can't.

What kind of eyes do you have?

I have brown eyes. Pretty boring, but there shape is quite pretty. I like my eyes cuz of that.

And eye contact got me in a loooot of trouble in this life. So I tend to keep away from it :p

I did have a friend that had the most amazing eyes. They looked just like the ones Cloud from FF VII has in the movie

I have boring brown eyes. But my husband says my eyes are not the norm. He says they are almond shaped and kind of slanted. I don't see the slant, and everyone's eyes look almond shaped to me, so I don't get it....

I've always thought my eyes were pretty. They used to be far more green and gold, but they are more of a blue-green now. Bright at the center and rather dark at the edge. I love that if you look really really close at eyes, even if they seem bland from the distance, you can see all these nuances up close.

I remember when I was filling out the form to get my driving permit.
I had no clue what I was doing.
They asked for hair color and eye color on the form....
I put "natural" for hair color and "normal" for eye color. The clerk laughed at me so hard she sprayed water on the form and I had to fill it out again. What did I know? Half the people in the room had green or pink hair or had it covered with a turban! I think it says I have "hazel" eyes which I've always thought of as the catch-all term for "muddy, not-clearly-any-particular-color" eyes.

I think all eyes are pretty and there is no boring 8U

I had a friend that had one of a kind eyes.
That being I've only ever seen eyes like hers on her.
Closes thing I could compare them to was lizard skin.
They were blue but they had actual texture like rough lizard skin or this type of tree bark.
It was amazing.

My eyes are brown, but if you look close at anyone's eyes you can see all sorts of dots and lines and other details. Eyes look like gems, but cool ones with beautiful imperfections, like tiger's eye stone~

I love tiger's eye!
(not the blue-gray hawk's eye or the dyed varieties -the red is all very dramatic and I'm sure someone loves the green or the bright blue stuff, but my favorite is the gorgeous natural gold/brown stuff).

I have a lovely 'egg' of it and a few slabs of raw, unpolished, untreated samples from one of the big mines over in... I think it's Thailand? Pretty sure it's Thailand. I inherited it from a great-great-uncle who was into rocks and minerals. He had a lot of interesting contacts.

My eyes are a boring brown, nearly black. Buuut, I have a friend, who's got greenish gold eyes with grey at the center. Her eyes are the prettiest I've ever seen <3

My eyes are green with some blue, maybe some gray in there.
