since we have the announcement, let's get this started!

Firn's explanation of (the following is a direct quote:)

Once every year the residents of the Kingdom Of Knuffel experience a rare and exciting phenomenon. On the night of the 24th of December the planet on which our beloved Kingdom can be found is placed in exact position between the huge sun and the moon. The planet throws a shadow on the moon, causing it to look like a giant doughnut in the sky seen from the Kingdom. In addition to that the constellation of the bunny is clearly visible on that very night, which results in the visual effect of a bunny jumping over the doughnut-like moon.

On the 24th all of the residents of the Kingdom gather under the clear sky to watch the exciting event.

That was 2016, right? With the little gingerbread man room pet giving out key fragments?

I loved it too. Extras to give away or sell, AND multiples of the room items. There are far too many knuffel rooms to decorate to want to miss out on multiples of that!
Was it actually key fragments? I think I have a vague memory of candy cane shards and you turned 10 of them in for ... or wait, those turned into key fragments, which turned into whole keys? Oh, bother. I'm all mixed up already.
