There was a stray cat that's been living around here for a while.
I made friends with her and named her Buttercup.
She is a very friendly little cat.
She once ran to me from three houses away.
She meows at me and loves on me and tries to go in the house with me.
She had kittens a few months ago and I guess their my neighbor's cats now xD
They're always in their yard and in their garage.
The neighbor was outside yesterday and the kittens were in our yard.
The neighbor told me the yellow kitten is friendly and the white kitten is wild and unfriendly.
And she didn't say anything about the gray one.
BUT the little gray one let me pet it and pick it up.
When I put it down, it meowed at me and loved on my legs.
It's funny too because it looks identical to its mother except it has hazel eyes instead of light jade.
That little kitten loving on me and letting me pet it and pick it up made me so HAPPY.
Animals always made me happy or feel bad xD
If they show me affection, I get happy and if they ignore me or avoid me, I get sad.
My dad grew up on a farm and he has a very strong connection with animals. Even strays.
I want to think of a name for the kittens, but I don't know if my neighbors named them 8,u
Has an animal made you happy recently?

Well, I don't know about happy, but I've had a very busy animal week! Last Thursday morning I found a baby mouse screaming in the middle of the kitchen floor. So I started raising her. Then I found another baby screaming on the top basement step last Friday night. So I took him in too. Then, I think it was Sunday, my neighbor found a mouse outside with a zip tie around her middle. So I took her in too.

AWWW UB
Little mousies ~
They're so cute xD
I recently got my dogs a new water dish.
I like it better than the old one.
I don't know how the dogs feel, but they've been using it like the old one u8

One of my neighbors has a dog that I sometimes pet-sit for, and any time they are walking him and I am around he tries to pull them to me, and wants me to walk with them. It's really cute, but it makes me sad because I usually only see him when I'm walking to work, so I can't stop and play with him.

I've heard mice squeak when they're rooting around the baseboards, but I had no idea the babies screamed. Poor things.

My cat head butted me twice on Saturday and I was super happy. She headbutts her dad all the time, but doesn't do it to me much.

My cats always make me happy. Except when they're being idiots, which is often. I wasn't feeling well on Monday afternoon, so I went home a laid down for a nap. My little girl kitty came and laid down with her head on my shoulder and purred me to sleep.

Last week I found a tiny (baby?) bat in a treestump in our garden

I'm pretty sure it lives somewhere in the attic now.

I've been feeding a semi-feral stray, and it's taken me months but he FINALLY lets me pet him. And now he's a glutton for it.

you're taming him! Awww!
(I keep expecting this chat to be about the Halloween '18 knuffel room pet, for some reason.)
