I feel like such a lame, out-of-the-loop adult saying this, but I'm not entirely sure on what discord is?
Or rather, I get that it's a live chat service, but I don't get how it's better suited to chatting while gaming over a forum or skype?

Totally not trying to shoot down your idea, all for chatting whilst doing other stuff, like I said, I just feel like I'm out of the know P:

It’s like Skype actually yes, it’s wayyy more popular now than Skype. Everyone migrated xD you can have multiple servers that you can join and play mini games with the bots that are in the servers depending what the owner sets up. It has different sub sections to chat in etc etc. it’s a phone app, website, or downloadable on a computer.

There is a voice chat or just text chat as well!

discord is by far my favorite one

I just recently got in to discord, because I game a lot lol
My online friends don't text, so it's either facebook, or discord.
I play on xbox...

I'd be interested, I can't get Pokecord on any of my other servers because my friends aren't interested. And the other servers I'm on are all art chat stuff.
