I'm not sure if this has been suggested or would even be possible, but I think an app for this site or even just a mobile friendly version of the website would be awesome! I would be MUCH more able to get on anytime, and I would so donate for this particular cause!

It had been suggested. Firn and Starkad had not done so in the past because they didn't own a smartphone on which to test the app on but I don't know if it's still the case.

I think Firn mentioned somewhere that starkad is working on making the website more friendly to mobile usage.
Developing an app would be a ton of work (not only initially, but also to maintain it as the site gets additional features - everything would be more work, because it would have to be done for the website and the app seperately), so that is probably still not very likely to ever happen.
And I personally think that that is a good decision, I don't think every website needs their own app, that's what browsers are for and responsive design (i.e. the design of the site adapts well to different screen sizes) is a far better option for most. I'm actually not very willing to waste space on my phone to install apps when I could have the same functionality just as well through a mobile-friendly website.
I personally already use KofK on my mobile browser a lot, but I do agree that there's room for improvement in the mobile-friendliness and I would definitely welcome some changes in that regard. So let's hope I was not mistaken and that really is a thing that is being worked on :)

I would support this as well but making apps is so much work!
Honestly I'd rather a beautiful website than an app that would be a lot of hassle for Stark and Firn.
As said maybe trying to make the site more mobile friendly would work?

Starkad started working on a more mobile-friendly version of the website last year already. Unfortunately due to multiple rent raises he had to accept a second job at university in February, so he has even less time for KOfK than before and the mobile-version had to be put on hold for now. I am sorry.

If I had the tenthousands of dollars it would costs to do so, I certainly would. As it is, we can hardly even pay for KOfk's running costs.

yes it can be expensive tbh... my fiance is a web developer and all that fancy stuff... he could always help if you would like ^o^
even maybe fine a cheaper way for hosting the website so it isn't as expensive but works perfectly (im not amazing at all this website stuff, but that's his career so he knows more xD)
