Have you ever bought items knowing you won't wear em?

I was asking myself this question while I shopped around in the Treasure trove. I realize that sometimes I buy sets I know I'm not gonna wear but I buy them anyway because I like how they LOOK.
And because if I don't I feel like I'd regret it later.
How about you? Do you ever buy items you like the look of but you know you'll never wear?
In rare occasions I do in the future use them and it pays off that I bought them but that's a few times XD.
For example for me the Toghu sets are sets I always buy....knowing I've never used it in an avatar. I LOVE how the hair looks but I can never manage to make an avatar out of them.
Please tell me I'm not alone in this XD!

Mostly I only buy things I think I'll use. However if they'res just one item in a set I want I'll still buy the whole set.
For events I try to get everything whether I'll use it or not, because I figure I can put the rest on the market.

Definitely not alone! I buy (not in real life) a lot of things I wouldn't typically wear, because I'm a hoarder. I just have a feeling, in the future, there will be a day when I make an avatar and this one item will complete it but I didn't buy it thinking I will never use it so I regret a ton. Whew.

I am ashamed to say I do it constantly. Sometimes I buy it thinking I'll use it, other times I just think it looks cool and want it. Sometimes I buy it because my OCD demands I have the full set. And once or twice I've bought limited time items just to sell them later

i do this too. i just kind of hope that eventually i'll have some other items that'll go well with whatever i'd bought.
sometimes i actually get frustrated at myself and will sit around trying to make a new outfit based entirely around one beautiful item i HAD to have, but never used. sometimes it turns out alright, but most of the time i just give up.
can't take any chances. gotta get that pretty stuff now so you don't regret it later.

No. I usually only have enough to buy what I really want. I do change my avi a lot though, so I do end up wanting a lot!

Nah, I don't post enough to afford many clothes I won't use. I guess sometimes during easier events, I try to get all the colors even if they color schemes aren't to my taste.

I used to do that too but I've had it happen before when I only loved one item of a set and haven't bought it and then regret it bcs in the future that one item is unattainable and super rare lmao.
I used to be super active during events and get all the sets but the items haven't really enticed me to these past couple of years.

I would definitely classify myself as an item horder as well. I have so many items now! But I can't bring myself to sell any of them.....even when its been years since I've used em XD. I just feel like ONE day...I'll have an avatar were I REALLY need that one item and if I don't buy it I'll regret it.

Lmao, I guess the good thing about buying something you'd think you'll need later is that if you don't you can always trade/sell for something you do want.
So it is true that it's kind of an investment

Tht's exactly my thoughts, I just buy it with the hopes it'll be a holy grail later XD. I have had those days were I make a new avatar just bcs I bought a new set.
And when I can't i'm like...wtf I buy this for then brain!

That's alright too!! Before I had a job I could only buy the colors/sets I TRULLY wanted. I was constantly worried that a set would come out that I really like and I wouldn't have anything to buy it with

True True, Like I said above there was often a time were I couldn't afford things. I used to love events tho bcs they were my chance to make money . I would work hard to get a set for myself and a set to sell and sell it for 
. It was a lot of hard work but it was do-able.

Yep, exact same position haha
Like those purses from the caravan? I got (almost) all colors even though I'm awfully sure I won't ever use 'em...
