It's not important enough to me to post in "Support", but just curious...

When you "Give" to earn a Spring Point for the event today, does the user actually get anything from it? Do they get a point?

(I tried this with a mule but wasn't allowed, what's the point of blocking shared IPs if it does nothing? XD)

I was wondering that too.

If I remember correctly, there was an event a couple of years ago when a user DID get something out of receiving these type of gifts. It made sense to block same IPs then and I think the algorithm was reused even if it wasn't needed.

Just my guess.

It's just in starkad's event code by default.
