Famous

On the one hand, I really like to be left alone and have privacy. But it would also be nice to have money and to have followers on social media so that I could spread the word about causes and non-profits that I support.
Do you wish you were famous? If so, what would you want to be famous for?

I'd love more followers and favorites for my art.
But I'm extremely scared of having a ton of attention on me.
I prefer to blend in.
Which sucks because I do want more fans.
I just don't want bad people.
But it's the internet.
I used to sing in choir and I've been on many stages and sang for tons of people.
I loved singing and going on trips. But I HATED the stages xD
I always thought everyone was looking at just me.

I'm going to be a famous writer.
I've stopped saying "I want to be" because it's not decisive enough. It will happen. I'm making it happen.
I don't need to be like J K Rowling famous though. I remember once she was buying lingerie and I saw it plastered all over the media speculating on what kind she bought. That's too much. I can just be famous like an author whose name you kinda know and you end up picking up their books because they seem to always sell well.

It's one of those things where if it happened, it happened, but I likely wouldn't be comfortable with it
One I follow actually finds it awkward to admit that yes he is famous/a celebrity, especially when someone asks him about it. Which he is, it's just between the typical Japanese upbringing and him being very modest it's shoved him into that spot
Cuz saying yes would mean proud/egotistical. Saying no is lying/ashamed of it. Damned if you do damned if you don't

I really don't want to be famous, but I think we all have that kind of dream to be anyway. I'd like to be famous as a musician, or maybe be one of the famous people in my line of work.
I'd also try and spread awareness for charities. Sounds very fake, but I'm so annoyed at the horrible things that happen in the world and that nobody seems to talk about.

@Kitalpha yeah like that! Everyone knows her name, right? I have no idea what she looks like or where she lives though.
I would like to use money for charity too. Once you have a certain amount of wealth there's barely any use for it. Not realistically. I mean, you don't need many mansions or whatever. So after making sure my family would have a comfortable life, I would like to help out with some needy causes.

Oh yeah I would love to be able to sing. That would really be something XD Even not to be famous, but just if I could sing well around the house and stuff. Everyone winces when I sing XD

Well I follow her Tumblr that I unintentionally found, and from what I can tell, Central New York, give or take
At least, that's where I see a lot of book signings
She's also mid-60s, give or take, too

See, that's a cool level of famous. You can find out a bit if you go look but not too much. Not like Kim Kardashian or something where everyone knows everything about you, even what hotels you're staying in.
