Revenge

I'm watching a video about satisfying revenge stories.
I'm torn on the subject of revenge.
People say it's pointless and others say it's not.
I often believe in things like vigilante justice and karma coming back to bite people in the ass.
But I also know that those aren't always right and wishing harm on others or harming others, is often just as bad. Even if it's revenge.
I'd like to hear your inputs.

Revenge in the form of doing very well and them having to see that is good revenge. A look at what you lost revenge means they realize (unless they're super self-absorbed or some such) they done fucked up
And if they don't, well, you're living well without them so you win either way

I love vigilante justice in movies and stories. In real life, not quite as much. Because "good" and "evil" aren't usually as black and white in real life. And because it's often a "bad" or mentally ill person who wants to try to hand out justice, and that usually ends up being a horrific disaster.

Kit: That is a good one xD
Sanssouci: I see, I see. I think when people feel justice wasn't done, they have to do it themselves. I remember this story where this man raped a kid, and the men in the small town took him out into the woods and came back without him. I should probably feel bad, but I thought it was a good story xD;
