I Hate This Feeling...

I was making dinner for myself last night, and my ankle felt like it needed to pop.
I tried to pop it while I was cooking, but it refused.
It eventually did pop, but it was so annoying xD
I was twisting and bending it and hopping on it >~>
I get this feeling in other body parts and I can't do it on my own.
It'll either pop on its own that day or the feeling will be gone when I wake up in the morning.
I was told that you shouldn't crack your knuckles because it causes arthritis.
Well, like everything else now, that's not true and never was.
My mom has arthritis and she cracks her knuckles, but it seems coincidental.
However, it left me too scared to ever do it.
Do you hate this feeling also?

I don't hate it (I reserve my hate for very specific things that I feel strongly about), but it is unpleasant.
I crack my knuckles all the time! #YOLO

Cracking my knuckles feels unpleasant but I understand that same irritation when I can't get a good crack on my neck or back. I feel stiff all day. I also have difficulties with the ball joint in my shoulder sometimes. It feels like it's going to pop out if I don't swing it/crack it back into place.
Idk about arthritis but I hear cracking your neck is bad because sometimes you can accidentally move your nerve into a pinched position. Then you have almost permanent numbness or pain ovo; I've been trying to massage out my neck but uh, it's really bad D:

Cracking your joints has nothing to do with arthritus.
A person did a study for 10 or so years cracking the knuckles on one had and not the other and there was no difference.

I don't think I can pop things on purpose xD
When I try, nothing happens.
I can do it to my wrist, though.
But just one wrist. Occasionally.

Yep, but I find cracking my knuckles to be very relaxing for some reason so I don't really listen to the arthritis myth.
There was a myth (I think) I used to listen to, the one with the "don't move your leg wile standing still or you'll get parkingson" and ended up replacing moving my feet with moving my head.... It's pretty creepy, but now I can't shake it off, so I am not listening to any more of these.
