The Fair

The fair opens tomorrow, I believe.
I haven't been in so long.
I wish we could go and look around and get some funnel cake.
I used to go on the Ferris wheel, carousel, and this one called the Arctic Chill and such.

Mom never liked going on the Ferris wheel because she's scared of heights.
When we did go on, Dad would rock the car and scare her/piss her off.

I actually won big at the dart games.
I had excellent aim and won a lot of top level prizes.
Some of them were these pretty glass pictures of Jesus.
We were having a school carnival once and I was throwing darts at the balloons and one of our coaches and teachers said "Wow, she's got really great aim 8U" "She does 8U"
My aim sucks now xD

I went to a carnival once and I rode two rides that Mom would never let me on.
Of course, my dad was there and not her, so I got one some xD
It was really fun. Made my heart race, but I wasn't scared and enjoyed it a lot.
I'm not really a thrill seeker, so I'll never go on a roller coaster xD

Do you ever go to fairs?
What's your favorite game, food and ride?
If you don't go or haven't gone, are you glad summer's over?

Nah
Local theme park has a lot of fair rides and foods so no point
Plus I'm not too big on rides anymore

Though the last time I did go to a fair, guys decided to go on break, turned off one ride, and shut down about half the fair XD

I love going to fairs! I always have fun. I always have to get some cotton candy. I'd like to go on more of the rides, but a lot of them scare me too much. Especially those swings that go far up.

I go to the state fair every year. I don't do any games or rides. I like buying things, and getting freebies, and taking pictures, and seeing my father, and I like some of the concerts and performers.

I've gone to the fair pretty regularly, but I did miss out when it came to town this year. I used to enjoy the rides a lot as a kid, but nowadays, it's more about the food. (Who am I kidding, it's always about the fair food.)

I have a few prizes I've collected over time from fair games. One is a giant Simpsons-esque donut plush (we paid a ridiculous amount of money to get enough points for that). I wore it like a sombrero for a while, and used it as a cushion for a bit, but now it's in my closet. I also have a fox plush a friend won for me, and a couple old framed pictures from when I was a kid (they're pictures of Pokemon, LOL).

I don't know if I have a favorite food in particular. I like the milk they sell near the animal pens, and the onion blossoms, chocolate bacon, and funnel cake.
