Misunderstanding

I'm easily confused, so responses people make can confuse me.

I commented a video on Youtube yesterday.
I said it was awesome and someone replied with "XD"
And I...don't know what that means.
It's a laughing emote, but what was funny that I said???

I also commented on a video that was regarding racism and someone said something incredibly racist back.
But I don't know if they were legit racist or explaining what the racists thought.

I also laugh as a coping mechanism and I tend to make a lot of jokes and find humor in things a lot of people don't.
I've pissed off a lot of people with my humor and coping mechanism.
Overall, I'm a good person and would always put others above myself.
When I laugh or make jokes, it's usually to help - not to hurt.

I also used to come off really harsh online, I'm assuming.
I've had friends tell me they were afraid to approach me and was also classified as "tsundere".
I have a habit of talking first and thinking later and I tend to be blunt sometimes.

I see a lot of misunderstandings online.
A lot of the time, people are genuinely nice.
Even if they're being a dick, if you confront them, they'll apologize.
That's from personal experience ^

Have you had any recent misunderstandings?

Yeah, just this morning one came up actually!

My husband got a new job about a 5.5 hours drive away, so he stays there all week and comes home on the weekend IF there is no work on Saturday. Well, 3 weeks ago he said he'd be gone 2 weekends, and come home the following weekend [which is this coming weekend, according to that plan].

So, I bought just enough rice, beans, and cat food, to survive for myself and the cats until this coming weekend.

Today he says he's not coming home this weekend, because it's the second overtime weekend. I was like no sir you said you'd be HOME this weekend.

Well the misunderstanding was, that LAST weekend they had no overtime so he came home. At the time, the plan was still to come home this coming weekend, so I didn't order more food to have it delivered. Soooo he assumed he was working, and lost track of time; I assumed he was coming home lol.

RAH. :mcargh:
