I Feel Bad For It

Since I was little, I always felt bad for inanimate objects.
Like if I'm going to buy a milk, and see a dented one, I pick it because I feel bad and think other people won't take it because it's dented.
It's like "Awww....I'll take you, little dented milk 8,u"
I don't know if there's a term for it or not, but I still do this.
Do you do this or know someone that does?

I believe it is called "sympathy", and yeah, I do feel bad for inanimate objects myself.

Do you know that there's a website that actually sells ugly fruits and veggies? They take rejects crops that don't meet the visual standards (but are otherwise perfectly fine) and sell them.
I tend to pick the best of what I can when I buy things, but I am attached to things that are mine no matter how flawed they get. I'm reluctant to throw stuff away that've been with me for a while (I will literally wear down my shirts until they are holes). *shrugs*
My mom has a hard time getting rid of stuff too. Apparently, she has a technique though. She'd say something along the lines of, "Thanks for serving me well," when she has to donate or throw out something. I can see the sentiment behind that.

I think that potato feels bad for itself...

It does look very self-pitying.
Also a bit like an old woman...
