Doodle the Avatar Above You
Posted: Sep 6th, '17, 03:54
I haven't seen a thread like this in the forums, but I'm sure there are enough of us who are up to the challenge!
RULES:
o1. Draw the avatar above you. It can be traditional or digital art; doodle, or sketch, or line-art; colored or not.
o2. Art of the avatar should be recognizable as such. If the avatar looks complex, no one wants you to suffer; just do the best you can so that it at least resembles the avatar.
o3. For those who are getting their avvies drawn, you can add a little helpful summary to your post about your avvie, but unless it's featured on your avatar, the artist still gets the final say in how to interpret them.
a. Please claim the person above you before you start drawing. (That way, there's less chance of an overlap.)
b. When the piece is finished, you can edit your post to include the art.
c. After you've claimed the person above you, try not to take longer than an hour before posting your piece, even if it's just a WIP. (This is so people won't get too anxious waiting for art. If you need more time, just contact the person above you.)
i. Don't complain about what you get. Um, that's rude?
ii. If you would like to share the art drawn for you elsewhere, be sure to get the artist's permission. (This includes other threads on the site, in your signature, off-site, etc.) You can always just link them back to the post, though.
iii. No hotlinking other people's uploads. (Again, rude.)
iv. If you didn't draw it, don't claim it as your own. (I'm sure y'all know better than to do so.)
v. We'll be trying to keep this as organized as possible, so please don't chat in the thread. You're always welcomed to contact folks via PM instead. *thumbs up*
vi. Have fun~!
Rules are subject to change.

To start this thread off, I will doodle the first poster. (So you get art from me, as well as from the person below you.)
My avatar is pretty complicated, so as long as it vaguely looks like him, it's all good to me!
