Hustling is the deceptive act of disguising one's skill in a sport or game with the intent of luring someone of probably lesser skill into gambling (or gambling for higher than current stakes) with the hustler, as a form of both a confidence trick and match fixing.

I learned what hustling was a long time ago and my sister found out about it last night.
I actually remember my dad talking my uncle's sons into playing pool.
They bet quarters and my dad pretended to suck at pool.
Well, when they bet more quarters, he beat them.
He didn't keep their quarters, though.

My sister decided to try it out on people in her game, but I told her that she needs to know there's consequences and to think first.
Everything you will ever do has consequences.

What kinds of things have you learned how to do lately or taught someone to do?

Lol, I asked my grandpa once what his first job was, and his answer was "hustling pool."

Recently I've learned...uh...I have to have learned something. Um. I'm working on Serbian? Also knitting lace. Also making the art with my lobster hands.

And writing fanfic. I'm p. bad at it, tbh (my main skills are world-building and character creation, which...um. Shouldn't make up those fanfic MCs whole cloth), but I have a compulsive need for acknowledgement/praise. Heh.
