Kingdom of Knuffel

I don't feel like working on art, watching TV, or anything. I feel like I'm in a rut. Or maybe a funk. I'm going nuts trying to figure out what to do. I try to do different things, but I get bored to easily.

Anyone else having this same problem? Anyone have any suggestions on how to get out of this mood?

Roleplay, listen to music, sing, or dance... singing and dancing I recommend because you made me want to sing and dance to The Wicked Witch is Dead.

Well I don't role play, but the other ideas just maybe what I need. Lol I never thought of dancing to the witch is dead song.

In all seriousness, going for a walk or something to get the blood pumping might in turn get your brain going, too. It works for me.

Ah, well, yeah. It is a happy song, but still the can-can song is pretty fun. Also, so is Bloomin' Feeling... and other songs I enjoy.

Seeing my friends always helps. Going out for dinner, dessert, karaoke and having a long conversation with them lightens my mood. They always make me feel refreshed and I'll want to start working again.

I wish I could see friends. One I have no way to get around. Dad usually has the vehicle. Then there's trying to get together, which is a joke. And most of the friends I wanna see, either live in a different state or country.

Walking doesn't help, it just makes me cranky.

I think they're the crazy people who stalk me online a lot.

I should play more games.

Usually when I get like that, I just have to brute force my way through. Like, I'll set a writing or reading goal and just make myself reach the goal no matter what (so it's important not to get too ambitious with the goal, but also not too simple--generally for reading I set it at 50 pages).

So by the end of it, either I've gotten back in the swing of things and keep going 'cause I'm feeling more into it, or I stop but at least I've gotten something accomplished. But if I still don't feel like doing it once I've reached the goal, I try not to beat myself up for not doing more work and go do something brainless like TV or knuffel (click click click).
