Why What Is This Oh Yeah

I have been watching Futurama before Netflix gets rid of it and I started watching the later seasons.
I stopped watching after Fox took it off and never saw it on the other channels much.
Well, one episodes has Fry finding out he was really a robot and it got me to thinking.
How would you react if you suddenly found out you were a robot?
Maybe all the people and memories were implanted.
Maybe you never had your best friend or those nights chasing fireflies.
Maybe you never had a crush or your first date and kiss.

I've never had those anyway, so not much difference imo
But the memories had to come from somewhere, yes? Perhaps someone who died before they should've and they didn't want to lose those memories

Or whoever made you made them up.
It's kind of like cloning.
You can make a duplicate, but is it as good as the original?
They look the same, sound the same, act the same, but it's not the same person.

It kinda reminds me of

Alice in Resident evil, where she found out that she was just a clone among many other clones of the original/real person. so,
she was searching for something that didn't exist.
I wouldn't mind really if I would turn out to be someone's clone or just a humanoid robot having memories of a random real person. It may weirded me out at first but then I'll eventually learn to live with it and create new memories of my own
