Binge-watching

I'm binge-watching the kdrama Legend of the Blue Sea.
One of my college mates wrote a paper after doing a survey in our college, about how much people binge-watch, and found that a lot of people do even though they have crazy amounts of college work.
I find that I binge-watch exactly when I'm buried under a mountain of homework. Actually, I probably do it because I have so much work. It's more complicated than procrastination. It's a combination of being so stressed and of feeling like it is when you try to get started that you actually face it and get crushed.

I've binge-watched several anime series.
I did it a few weeks ago. I watched them all in one sitting.
I'm the type of person that rarely finishes things, so if I want or need to do something, I need to do it immediately.

Ah, I'm like that with novels. I need to finish reading fast.
I certainly enjoy shows a lot better if I binge-watch them, though I don't have to binge-watch them to finish them. It feels more immersive

I do a ton of binge watching. It's my favorite kind. I don't really like watching shows if I can just watch one at a time.
And it is a nice bit of stress relief. Dealing with a fictional character's drama rather than my own. lol.

makes sense! i tend to go off on rants on twitter when i have some impending thing i need to get done. my procrastination habit is somewhat better than it used to be- i used to be so bad i just could never turn anything in on time, lmao. i'm such a horrible student.
i don't binge watch things though. probably because i don't really watch many things to begin with?

I binge watch every chance I get or if I have nothing much to do. the most recent was 13 Reasons Why and oh, I love Legend of The Blue Sea too!

I mostly binge watch when I feel depressed and can't do much more than sit and stare at something for 16 hours a day.
A few summers ago when I was feeling particularly terrible, I spent the entire three months lying on the couch watching Law and Order. Made it through all 20 seasons.
I'm feeling a minor binge coming on, just because I'm so exhausted from school and this is the last summer I'll have off for 5 years at least. Think I'll do as much of the Star Trek franchise straight through as I can in 3 months.
Might actually binge the books too. I just like reading all of things. Completing the set, even if parts of it are really bleh.
