I'm going to start a new long term hobby with grown and arranging succulents, and because I want donuts i'm going to post some of my finding here. If you know anything about succulents (or just want donuts) come join me and share pictures, species or tips and tricks on careā„

Did you know with the right care and pruning you can make a bonsai 'tree' from jade plant (crassula ovata)?
This is achieved by twisting off the leaves from the 'trunk' and triming the leaves on the top to make them smaller. I really want to try this and make my own little succulent forest!

I love bonsai trees! I'm not really a fan of succulents but I do enjoy looking at terrariums. Your image reminds me of acacia trees!

Megurine_Gem teeny tiny acacia trees!
You might like succulent arrangements (even if you don't like succulents, they're very pretty)
My end goal is to make arrangements like these. Lots of beautiful plants in creative and interesting pots. Maybe make little landscapes, fun stuff ^^

Wow, look at this Sempervivum called 'Lilac Time'. It reminds me of peacock feathers or a rainbow
Now I need to add this little beauty to my plant wishlist! It's super hardy too, can survive -20F/-29C which means I can make an outdoors display (I live in a cold country)

This is sooo pretty!
I actually want to try making one of these, more like a fairy garden. I just hope these guys aren't too expensive

I have heard that the app moves rather choppily tho

Miky90, making one of those broken pot arrangements probably wouldn't be too expensive to make, with the most costly part being the plants.
Here's a tutorial on how to make them ^^

Succulents are beautiful! If you're not good at taking care of them in real life, there is a wonderful little game on Steam that let's you grow your own and has calming music. It's called Viridi and it's free on Steam. It's very lovely.
I, myself, have tried to grow an air planet that a friend bought for me. Though I think the plant might be dying.

I love succulents!!!!
This is such a neat little project! I would love to pick your brain - I know far too little about succulents and succulent arrangements!
That bonsai is amazing! I know typical bonsais take hundreds of years to make - how long does a succulent bonsai take?
