What Is Hunger?

The Hunger Games?
Hungry Like the Wolf?

I LOVE food. Most people know that.
But there are days where I don't want to eat anything.
My stomach will growl a lot, but I have no interest in eating.
And it's not like I'm just bored, I will not eat all day and my stomach will beg for food, but I don't want to eat.
And it's not an eating disorder situation.
It's like...."Meh, don't feel like it 8u -doodles-"

I took notice that I eat a lot less than I used to.
I would be able to down 20 nuggets and a large fry easily.
Now I can barely handle 10 and a handful of fries.
I also notice I eat other things in smaller quantities than I used to.

I also tend to eat a lot sometimes.
I don't get that way as often, but it has happened a few times this year.
THAT I do consider boredom, I guess.
But it makes me sick.

I've always had stomach problems.
My family seems to have a bad history with gastro things.
Peptic ulcers, acid reflux, nausea, vomiting, etc.
I have acid reflux and might have an ulcer forming. Don't know.
My dad's ex got poisoned once and she had most of her stomach and stuff removed.
She couldn't eat much of anything.
I thought it was crazy.
She told me she drank something, I think. And it made her very sick.

I also randomly get really sick.
I'll puke a lot, get really bad diarrhea and it will last for days.
It's happened already this year or very late last year.
It happened a few years back too.
It's horrible. It makes me afraid of eating after I get better.
I basically can't touch ham now.
I had eaten a little my aunt gave me, and I puked it all up.
I thought it was the ham, but my family didn't have any issues when they ate it.
I started feeling extremely nauseous yesterday and it scared me xD

Do you have issues with your stomach/gastro related things?

Yup, I have heartburn, Chrons and Just chronic stomach pain due to my spinal cord injury and deferred pain syndrome. It sucks. Gotta take Tramodol everyday and it sometimes causes seizures at night. :mcsweat:

Yeah, I have irritable bowel syndrome. I have to deal with the chronic diarrhea every day. I also get random bursts of nausea because of it and sometimes an achy discomfort. It sucks.

I really love food but I can't enjoy it anymore because of it. Even though I can't identify any patterns in what disagrees with me more than other things, I get stressed just knowing that I'm eating now and I'm going to suffer the effects later.

I'm currently eating like a pig and I don't like it. I normally don't eat a lot and I've been eating a lot. I'm going to try cutting down now because I don't want to buy new clothes and I enjoy being ~55kg as I know only one other person my age who is under that weight.

I used to get heartburn occasionally, but I haven't had much trouble with that in the past several years.

Conversation with my daughter last night:
Me: I'm hungry.
Her: You just ate an ice cube. What more do you want?!

I'm peanut intolerant. So if I eat peanuts I get incredibly stomach sick.

This is all pretty TMI so viewer beware:
Spoiler
My husband is convinced that I don't digest food properly because my poop is often not brown. It comes in many colors. lol.

And I have pretty bad hemorrhoids. So that sucks.
