That Type of Person

I'm the type of person that would try to get online if I was in the ER or just out of surgery or really sick.
I have no friends in real life, and I only talk to a small group of relatives.
So I hold my online friends very dear to me, and I like to let them know how I am or talk to them when I feel bad.

I've come across people saying "You're not sick/hurt if you're online!"
While I understand that, some people are online when they're unwell.
Especially me. I'd be online 24/7 if I could.
I love my friends and have known them for at least 3 years.
Some I've known for almost 10 years.
So I will get online to talk to them no matter what xD

I do, however, doubt some things because people will make up illnesses to get sympathy and attention.
I recall someone telling me they had a 105+ temperature and were doodling around on Gaia.
She seemed very coherent, so I didn't believe her.
When I'm sick and online, I'm not fully functional, even without a fever.

Are you that type of person that would internet on your deathbed?

Dunno about death bed, but I can find it very comforting to be online when I'm not up to par.

If I'm just sort of regular, average, under the weather, at home sick then I will be online a lot.

If I'm home but feeling REALLY bad, then I'll usually be online a little, but I mostly watch tv and lie down when I feel that bad.

If I was in the hospital or something, then I probably wouldn't be on much, if at all.

Not really, I'm more of a loner...

I hold my friends very dear, but I'm the type of person that doesn't like attention when I'm sick and wants to be left alone. I can barely stand my boyfriend and my parents and they are only being concerned :P.

Honestly more than online for me the comfort/security blanket I turn to are books. If I have a book with me, I feel better. It's stupid and silly but there you have it.
I always feel like, if I have unpacked my books then I am home, if the books are packed away it's just a camping-out, temporary situation.
Even if I don't read more than a paragraph or two, having a book open in my hand makes me feel grounded and centered and calmer, so if a discussion begins to heat up sometimes I go get a book to hold and then I can keep talking and it does not bother me so much.

So when I'm really sick -there's always a pile of books by my bedside. Even if I have a terrible headache and can't focus my eyes to read, the books are there and I will put out my hand to feel them.

It's just a funny thing.

So on my deathbed I hope I have a loved one there who reads to me, but I don't need to be online for it. ;)

I like being online, but I don't think I would really want it on my deathbed or anything.

I think my deal is that people online seem to care more about me than my family.

I would probably be playing on the internet even if I was legitly dying. lol. Or playing video games.

I get bored super easy. I feel like that would be a really lame way to die. In a super bored state?
