...and probably some good memories. So do you have some fond memories of something that gives you such warm and nostalgic feelings, but then one day you realize none of it lives up to the memories and feelings?

So I've been watching this old TV series "Murder, she wrote" (the name really bothers me by the way, but that's another story). I used to love it so much as a kid, which I suppose is the key word here: As a kid. Wasn't there even a cartoon or something, since I remember watching something like that also..? Anyway, while it's still way better than most of the crap (sorry) they put out these days, it's actually really not that good... It's cute enough I suppose, but not the best thing I've seen. It made me kind of sad because I really want to love it still, so I keep watching it, but... No...

I LOVED Indiana Jones as a kid.
Now that I'm older and know a bit about archaeology and stuff like that it just annoys the heck out of me.

I used to watch a lot of cartoons on Cartoon Network like Cow and Chicken, I'am Weasel and Rugrats on Nickelodeon which I don't find as amusing and interesting as I did before.

even those little things we as a child used to enjoy seemed not so fun anymore with our child wanderlust hyper imagination gone.

There are some anime I watched as a kid. I really loved them back then. I remember how amazing I thought they are. Lately I started to rewatch them again. None of them is as great as I thought it was. They are still nice, but sometimes it's really painful to watch them...

But well, I guess it's natural. When you're a kid, you nearly have no experience at all, so it's easy to impress you.
