- Did you want to see it? Why didn't you manage to do so?
I do want to see it. Though I don't have any money to go to the movies.
- Are you planning to see it?
Maybe when it comes out on DVD or something. I'd love to watch it.
- What do you expect the movie to be like?
I hear a lot of good things about it and it looks really freaking cute. The little Niffler? Is that right? The one who steals shiny things. It's especially adorable.

And I haven't read the book yet so I look forward to watching the movie before reading the book.

--> YES:
- What was your motivation to see the movie?

I've seen the Harry Potter movies and therefore was curious how this would turn out. I did have low expectations because the trailers made me fear for no storyline at all, but this was proven otherwise.

- Are you a Harry Potter fan?
I like Harry Potter, but to call myself a fan... not so much. I was hyped about it by the time the movies were a thing, but I guess it decreased when the movie series ended.

- Did you like the movie? Why/why not?
I loved it! The main characters were very likable and the creatures were of course fantastic (ha). I can't explain very well why I liked it, but I had a jolly good time seeing this movie (twice).

- What did you think about the music?
I have to admit I did not focus very well on the music. I was actually kind-of uncomfortable with the Hedwig theme at the start, because yes it takes place in the same universe as Harry Potter, but this is not a Harry Potter story. I don't mind, but it does make me give this feeling of 'hmm not so sure.'

- What do you think about the evil guy and the changes he went through?
'The evil guy.' I don't feel like I get to say much about him yet since we did not get to know him that well, we only know him as his previous-ness where he hid under another identity. Not sure about his true self's actor choice (not because I dislike them, because I do not, but because it felt like said actor was in the wrong universe, it's just a feeling so don't judge too much on it).

- Are you planning on watching the other upcoming 4 parts?
Oh wow, there'll be four? Sure, so far I see why not.

- Did it meet up to your expectations?
I had low expectations, so it exceeded them.

Yes.
Harry potter, curious.
Yes sort of.
I loved it, it was new, exciting and fun and still magical.
I loved it. I love that sort of music :)
I kinda knew about it because I didn't get to see the movie till it came out on dvd and so was spoilered a bit on facebook about that. I thought it was good though.

Oh hell yes.
Hm I didn't want to give it high or low expectations. I don't like being disappointed so I guess it did?

- What was your motivation to see the movie?: J.K.Rowling's fiction has a special place in my heart and as book movies go the HP series has been pretty dang on point.

- Did you like the movie? Why/why not?: I didn't like it, not because it was poorly executed, not because the story was bad because they weren't. It was just a bummer to see that almost every american was pretty much an irredeemable jerk or a ditz/victim.
Considering the wizard community in europe made it through their own witch trials and the inquisition. I find it hard to believe the salem incident had this damaging an impact on the american wizarding community.
Maybe things were better outlined in the book. But to me it was a flat and disappointing depiction of the united states.

- Are you planning on watching the other upcoming 4 parts?: Probably. I'm a compeltionist and barring them being extremely frustrating my curiosity almost always wins me over.

- Did it meet up to your expectations?: Definitely. My issues with the story were personal. But the music, animation/fx and acting were epic.

I saw it back when it was in theaters.

- What was your motivation to see the movie?

It was a Harry Potter movie about what I thought was going to be mythological creatures, starring a Hufflepuff.

- Are you a Harry Potter fan?

In a sense. I've never finished the book or the movie, but I enjoyed the series well enough.

- Did you like the movie? Why/why not?

I wasn't impressed with most of the characters or the pacing, but overall, I did enjoy it.

- What did you think about the music?

- What do you think about the evil guy and the changes he went through?

- Are you planning on watching the other upcoming 4 parts?

I could take it or leave it.

- Did it meet up to your expectations?

I didn't have much of one, but I was satisfied with what I got.

> YES:
- What was your motivation to see the movie?
I love the Harry Potter books and movies. Plus Newt is a fellow Hufflepuff, so I House loyalty means I had to see it anyway.
- Are you a Harry Potter fan?
Yes
- Did you like the movie? Why/why not?
Yes. Newt was so sweet and more comfortable with his magical creatures that humans. He wasn't portrayed as a stereotypical male lead.
- What did you think about the music?
It made the movies complete.
- What do you think about the evil guy and the changes he went through?
Someone spoiled it for me so Graves was always the bad guy.
- Are you planning on watching the other upcoming 4 parts?
Of course.
- Did it meet up to your expectations?
Yes.

*high-fives* I'm not a 'Puff, but they are one of my favorite houses.

I liked Newt's character a lot too.
