my taste in music has always been all over the place honestly. i used to the cds we had in my car (they were all over the place too). i really got into tokyo hotel when i was like 7/8 yo because my older cousins were listening to their music lmao
then i just kind of listened to whatever was on the charts, anime openings and (i'm kind of embarassed to admit it) i had a v strong justin bieber phase lmao
then i just kind of drifted towards pop punk, rock, metal and stuff in high school.

my go tos now are mostly alt rock, emo rap, lofi, indie etc

My taste has not changed that much. I'd say I added some genres.
I used to listen to a lot blink182, sum41, Linkin Park, RHCP, Good Charlotte, Gorillaz, Nirvana etc. I still love all that, but I don't listen to it that much.

I dont feel like my taste has changed in one direction or the other, but I feel like it definitely has broadened.

When i was very young i listened to a lot of country, most specifically Shania Twain. But as i got into my teens i got into a lot of punk and rock music, and really it just got harder until i started listening to various metal genres. I'll now listen to just about every genre except country. I will no longer listen to country haha

I used to listen to anime openings and endings. Now that I don't really watch anime anymore, that doesn't happen.
