I'm not a nurse but I work in a hotel and we got a sudden surge since the last month, obviously we're short staffed and thus it's been crazy at work too so I kinda get it (though at least the stakes aren't high).

I don't think I'm that talented though, just have a lot of time on my hands. It's not like I stalk every location like some people do, I just happen to see something, think it's pretty and snap a picture

Yes we do get a lot more foreigners now. And obviously we are understaffed.
Interestingly enough though the very day of the annoucement Japanese people started to travel more as well.

Oh I guess if its good enough for foreigners to travel then its good enough for the japanese haha! I follow some youtubers who live in Japan permanently and they were saying how empty some places were like Kyoto!

Kyoto was crazy. I went once during the pandemic and it was like all the people had disappeared when it usually is packed anywhere you go.
You see the temple with the red doors? I cli;bed to the top and saw less than 10 people during the whole hike. That is one of the creepiest and best experience I have ever had.
