We have also made a small change to the the way Knuffel will appear in Knufftropolis. Users have voiced their concerns about new Knuffel taking a long time to be released. In the past we have tried to regulate this problem by changing the number of their availability, raising it, when Knuffel would be adopted too fast so I could not keep up with making new ones, and lowering it when things were going slow.
However, it is a bit hard to predict this before releasing a new Knuffel: Will the community be active in the next few weeks or rather slow? Will people like the Knuffel enough to adopt it or not?
Thus we have decided to add a time limit in addition to the limited quantity of the Knuffel:

The Light Generation 15 Knuffel will stay in Knufftropolis either till all of them are adopted, or till January 2016.

This should guarantee us to have a new Knuffel in Knufftropolis about every second month.
Unfortunately I cannot name an exact date (because we have so many things with deadlines by now that it is really hard for me to get everything done in time), so the Knuffel will be removed sometime in January and if you are counting on a last-minute adoption, it would be safe to get it by the end of December '15.
This also means that we will remove the next Knuffel with the lowest availability number in September, regardless of how many there are still left by then.

I'm very excited about the new Knuffel release system! Knuffels are my favorite part of the site so I can't wait to see it in action. It sounds like it should work out really well.
