Winter Event 2014 - The Doughnight Calendar

Hello everyone, it is time for our Winter Event 2014!
All of you who were here for previous winter events already know what Doughnight is about. For the rest of you:

Once every year the residents of the Kingdom Of Knuffel experience a rare and exciting phenomenon. On the night of the 24th of December the planet on which our beloved Kingdom can be found is placed in exact position between the huge sun and the moon. The planet throws a shadow on the moon, causing it to look like a giant doughnut in the sky seen from the Kingdom. In addition to that the constellation of the bunny is clearly visible on that very night, which results in the visual effect of a bunny jumping over the doughnut-like moon.
On the 24th all of the residents of the Kingdom gather under the clear sky to watch the exciting event.

For this special celebration the kingdom offers the Doughnight Calendar: A Calendar to count down till Doughnight and gather special event items!
Starting December 1st you can visit the Doughnight Calendar and open a window of the calendar each day. The 1st window can be opened on December 1st, the 2nd on December 2nd and so on. The windows open according to KOfK Server Time. If you missed out on one, you can open it on a later date! The Calendar will stay open a few days after the 24th, so those of you busy with Christmas celebrations will be able to catch up afterwards.
How does it work?
In order to open a window you need a key. One key each per window.
How to get keys?
You can create keys from key fragments. You need 10 key fragments to create 1 key.
There are various different ways to get key fragments:

⇒ You can claim one key fragment on the Doughnight Calendar page each day
⇒ You can earn key fragments by singing carols in the shops, as well as from Knufftropolis once a day. However, looks like you mixed up your music sheets, so better make sure you pick the one that's actually a carol, or you won't get a key. You need to rest your voice 5 minutes between each carol you sing.
⇒ You can get key fragments for posting in our forums. Each posts gives you 1 key fragment, except for the Spam and the Word Game forum, where you cannot get any key fragments.
⇒ You can dig up key fragments with your Knuffel on Candy Island!
⇒ You can buy key fragments, as well as completed keys from other users, as they are tradeable.

All of these options become available now, but the first window doesn't open till December 1st.

The way we have to collect the key parts is awesome too~

Brilliant ^^ And so nice of you to let us start on collecting the keys in advance ! We won't be in too much of a rush this way

I'm actually wondering about that too. I'm no good at music and stuff like that -_-...

edit: How will you know which score is the correct one though? O.o
- Guess
- Be able to read scores
- Ask someone who can read scores
- Google up scores of famous Christmas Carols
- Wait for someone to make a guide
But basically it's a guessing game.

Ah, this looks exciting! I'm so glad that I can read sheets. Though it's one thing that I can read them, and an another to recognise them... ^^" Well, happy December for now. :3
