I was thinking about how people leave our lives and a lot of times we're sad. If you have comments about it-as far as style and all that you can post them. Kudos to you if you can guess what I'm talking about. >.>;;

All his life he knew nothing but cruelty
Spent most of his days on a chain.
He passed from this world like a speck in the universe
With no love in life and no name.

Her brothers and sisters squirmed at her sides
The heat and the smell and the gunk in her eyes
But everyone ignored the pitiful cries
And the world loses more innocent lives.

We say that we love them, they make our lives bright
Yet we just ignore the cruelty and walk by
Watching us all-saying they don't comprehend
The horrible things that we do to them.

An old man lays down in his cage
Waiting for the end of his days.
People pass by laughing and gay
Closes his eyes, but can not pray.

They stand in a field waiting for that hand
Once there were people who would brush them
And give them treats, food and love
But as they got older, everyone gave up.

There is hope but it depends on us
Give a voice to those who can't speak up.
Give love to ALL not just those we understand
Just because they're not in the species of man
Does not mean they don't fear, do not hurt, do not grief
They do love, they do care-They know when they're happy.
We have sowed the seeds that dictate their path
With all they give us-Let's try to give back.
